Sex Offenders can be found anywhere and everywhere. They can be rich or poor, male or female, young or old, a doctor, lawyer, teacher and more.
Unfortunately, many times the sex offender is known by the child -- a parent, grandparent, neighbor, baby sitter, etc.

Sex offenders puts themselves where he/she has easy access to children. They will work at gaining the trust of family members and their neighborhood or community. If a child charges the sex offender with abuse, it is often too difficult for families who love and trust this person to believe that he/she would abuse a child.
